Calculator can be used to perform standard operations in mathematics. Calculator performs basic arithmetic, such as addition and subtraction, as well as functions found on a scientific calculator, such as logarithms and factorials. But Machinist’s Calculator software has been developed to quickly solve trades math problems. Machinist's Calculator has many time saving functions. Inch to metric and metric to inch conversions is available on all calculations in Machinist's Calculator. By entering values for two sides, or one side and one angle you can Solve Right Angle Triangles. And the values can be converted between Inch and metric systems with the “Inch to mm” and “mm to Inch” buttons. By using bolt circle and grid option the user can calculate the X and Y coordinates for holes arranged equally spaced in a circle, and then copy those coordinates to the clipboard ready to paste into their document. The machining calculations option will enable the user to quickly calculate speeds and feeds for drills, milling cutters, and lathe work pieces. The Ballnose cutters option enables the user to calculate the correct amount of stepover to achieve a particular scallop height. You can quickly calculate chord dimensions such as chord length, chord height, arc length, arc radius and included angle by using chord option. The dovetails application can be used to calculate the measuring of dovetails with rollers. |
